Lake Regulations

1. The LAKES (Coca Lake and Mountain Lake) are considered the private property of the residents of Coca Lake. 2. Fishing by non-residents is permitted only while in the direct company of a resident of Coca Lake, and only with a State of Georgia fishing license. 3. All Bass 15" or over are "catch and release" only. All others may be removed from the lakes. Bream and Catfish my be caught and kept in accordance with the State of Georgia Game and Fish Regulations. 4. Residents non having direct shoreline access may put their boats into the water from the dock in the parking lot of the Pool and Tennis facility. Only electric motors may be used to power watercraft on the LAKES. 5. Visitors may fish from the shoreline of lot owners if given written permission. 6. Non-residents fishing without permission, or not in the direct company of a resident are considered guilty of trespassing and should be asked to leave. If a non-resident fisherman refuses to leave, residents are asked to record the vehicle license number and call the Harris County Sheriffs Department, or to report the offender and circumstances via email to ContactUs@cocalake.org 7. Waterfront residents desiring to build docks must submit plans to the ACC for approval. |
