Trash Pickup
Please note that weekly trash pickup occurs on Wednesdays (during non-holiday weeks), usually early in the morning. This a service provided by Harris County Government (there is not a separate, outside company/vendor that does this), and the only action required by the homeowner is to have your trash at the end of your driveway before they come. It is recommended a large trashcan that can easily be placed at the end of your driveway and brought back to your house each Wednesday be used. Only household garbage is picked up – no recycling. Additionally, please note that Harris County does NOT pick up grass clippings, limbs, yard debris, etc. from our neighborhood. Do not put these items at your curb as they will not be picked up. Please dispose of these yourself and keep our community beautiful! Storms Causing Streets to be Blocked?
